#TRNG-120 UnidriveSP/SyPT Lite $600 / 3 Days
This class on the UnidriveSP AC Drive and Servo Control reviews all of the capabilities this solution platform has to offer, as well as the basics of operating, start-up and diagnostics. Upon completion of the class, you will be able to recognize unique applications for the UnidriveSP, perform basic drive configuration, complete start-up, and understand troubleshooting / diagnostics on the drive. Hands-on labs cover keypad and SmartCard operation, parameter configuration and tuning for open loop, closed loop and servo modes. You will gain an understanding of the drive's menu structure as well as become familiar with the CTSoft drive configuration tool. #TRNG-121 UnidriveSP EZ-Motion $200 / 1 Day
This one-day adder course enhances the Unidrive SP class above by introduces the UnidriveSP user to the SM-EZMotion Solution Module. We cover the use of PowerTools Pro software for motion applications. Students will become familiar with PowerTools Pro and conduct lab exercises including creating an indexer, performing compound movements, as well as reviewing multiple programs utilizing homing and indexing.

#TRNG-122 Commander SK $400 / 2 Days
                    SyPT Lite $200 / 1 Day
This is a fast paced class on the Commander SK Open Loop AC Drive and use of the SyPT Lite software tool. Upon completion the class, you will be able to recognize unique applications for the Commander SK, perform basic drive configuration, complete start-up, and understand troubleshooting / diagnostics on the drive. Hands-on labs cover Keypad, LogicStick and SmartStick operation, parameter configuration and tuning for open loop vector mode. You will gain an understanding of the drive's menu structure as well as becoming familiar with the CTSoft drive configuration tool. Students not wishing to attend the SyPT Lite programming portion are free to leave after Day 2.

#TRNG-126 Quantum/Mentor DC Drives $600 / 3 Days
This class on 1 through 1000 horsepower DC drives, featuring the Quantum III and Mentor II products concentrates on the basics of operating, start-up, troubleshooting, and diagnostics. Upon completion of the class, you will be able to recognize applications, perform basic drive configuration, complete start-up, and understand troubleshooting / diagnostics on the drive. Hands-on exercises are used throughout the course to review configuration, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.

#TRNG-127 Mentor/Quantum MP      $600 / 3 Days
This class features our new Mentor and Quantum MP Digital DC Drive family with concentration on the basics of operating, start-up, troubleshooting, and diagnostics. You will gain an understanding of the drive's menu structure as well as becoming familiar with the CTSoft drive configuration tool. Upon completion of the class, you will be able to recognize applications, perform basic drive configuration, complete start-up, and understand troubleshooting / diagnostics on the drive. Hands-on exercises are used throughout the course to review configuration, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance. Additional labs cover keypad variants, parameter backup and restoration techniques using both CTSoft and the SmartCard plus tuning procedures for both Tach and Encoder feedback types as well as the internal autotuning facilities.  Resulting performance will be observed using CTScope – our 4 Channel Color SoftScope.
Mentor/Quantum MP drives can execute PLC Ladder programs of your creation to achieve those miscellaneous functions outside what the base drive can do. #TRNG-141 CTVue HMI $200 / 1 Day
The course covers most of the features of the CTVUE Product. Course uses hands on approach with the CTVUE-306A. Communications, Data Tags, User Interface lab exercises provide all the training needed to use with Control Techniques drives.  Previous CT drive knowledge is helpful but not required.

#TRNG-130 Intro to Soft Starters
This is a two part class covering the full line of Emerson/Saftronics Soft Starter product line. Part One is a detailed seminar reviewing the entire product range covering the technical specifications, positioning of the product line, target industries, and capabilities/offerings of standard, prepackaged and engineered solutions. Part Two will concentrate on identifying products, practical troubleshooting, as well as start-up and commissioning procedures. Upon completion of the course, you will have an understanding of the capabilities and operation of the Soft Starter Products. This course is generally conducted On-Line (via Webex). #TRNG-160 SyPT Pro Programming $600 / 3 Days
This course is designed for those who wish to become functional in programming using the SyPT Programming Tool application development software. Hands-on exercises with the Unidrive SP drives will allow you to become familiar with SyPTPro as a development and debugging tool. The basic applications covered in the class will provide a framework for you to develop a complete application on your own. Function blocks for PLC-Open and a review of CTNet basics will be covered in this course. Prerequisites include a thorough understanding of CT drives parameter structure and experience with PLC programming languages.

#TRNG-260 SyPT Motion / APC $400 / 2 Days
This two-day adder course enhances the SyPT Pro class and is designed for those who wish to become proficient with the Advanced Position Controller (APC) of SyPTPro. This course will cover creating User Units, APC parameters and instructions, and camming. Training course #160 on SyPT Pro is a prerequisite.

#TRNG-261 Winder Solutions $800 / 4 Days
This class is designed for those who wish to implement CT's Winder Solutions Package. The class assumes some basic Winder knowledge and background so that sufficient time is available to get into the specifics of configuring the SM-Winder Solutions for various drive platforms. This is the new Standard Winder Solutions Option that is currently offered for the UnidriveSP AC drives and the Mentor II/Quantum III DC Drives. Prerequisites include a thorough understanding of CT drives parameter structure and experience with Control Techniques drives.

#TRNG170 Sequential Function Chart (SFC) Programming for the Digitax ST-I $200 / 1 Day
This course is designed to give the student a proficient understanding of the Sequential Function Chart (SFC) programming environment available exclusively in the Digitax ST-I servo drive. The training assumes the user has a basic understanding of servo drives. The SFC graphical environment creates a straight forward approach to motion programming and allows a user of any level of ability to quickly program their application.

#TRNG180 PowerTools Pro $400 / 2 Days
This course covers the application and programming of our motion family of positioning products. The class will focus on PowerTools Pro used with Epsilon drives, FM3, FM4 and SM-EZMotion modules. Basic indexing and positioning, as well as advanced applications will be covered. Configuration of fieldbus options will also be reviewed.

#TRNG181 PowerTools Pro version 5 $400 / 2 Days
This course covers the application and programming of our advanced features of PowerTools Pro software for the Epsilon EP-P and SM EZMotion products. Basic Motion and I/O setup will be reviewed, however the course will focus on high level features including Camming, Virtual Master, Modbus Master, Timers, Torque Mode and Real Time Programs.

#TRNG-190 MC Controller $400 / 2 Days
This hands-on course covers the capabilities of the 206 and 224 controllers, and related options. Programming is done using the Motion Perfect Software & includes I/O control, single axis indexing, linear & circular motion, gearing, linking, and camming. It is recommended that students be familiar with BASIC style programming.
